Welcome to It’s Lit Beach Rentals (“Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). By using our website and rental services, you agree to these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree, please do not proceed with a booking.

1. General Terms

  • These Terms apply to all users of our website and rental services.
  • By placing a booking, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a rental agreement.
  • We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.

2. Rental Services & Booking Policy

2.1. Booking & Payment

  • Customers must book in advance through our website, phone, or email.
  • Full payment is required either at the time of booking or on the day of the rental, as specified in the booking confirmation.
  • Rentals are subject to availability and are provided on a first-come, first-served basis.

2.2. Rental Period & Returns

  • Rentals must be returned on time and in the same condition as received.
  • Late returns may result in additional charges.
  • Customers are responsible for ensuring rental items are properly stored when not in use.

2.3. Rescheduling & Cancellation Policy

  • All bookings are non-refundable once payment is made. Our service operates rain or shine, and therefore no refunds will be issued due to weather unless conditions are deemed unsafe by us.
  • We allow a one-time reschedule at no extra cost if requested at least 24 hours before the scheduled rental date.
  • If a customer fails to request a reschedule within the allowed timeframe, the booking will be considered a no-show, and no reschedule will be permitted.
  • In cases of unsafe weather conditions, as determined solely by It’s Lit Beach Rentals, customers will be given the option to reschedule their booking.
  • If It’s Lit Beach Rentals is unable to provide the rental service due to unforeseen circumstances, customers may request a reschedule or rental credit for a future date.

3. Customer Responsibilities

  • Customers must use rental equipment responsibly and follow all local beach and safety regulations.
  • Any damage, theft, or loss of rented items is the customer’s responsibility and may result in additional charges for repair or replacement.
  • Beach chairs, bikes, paddle boards, kayaks, and coolers must not be left unattended in unsecured areas.

4. Liability & Safety

  • Customers assume all risks when using rental equipment. It’s Lit Beach Rentals is not liable for any injuries, accidents, or damages resulting from rental use.
  • We strongly recommend wearing life jackets when using kayaks or paddle boards.
  • Rental equipment should only be used in designated beach and water areas.

5. Payment & Fees

  • Payments must be made through approved methods listed on our website.
  • We reserve the right to charge additional fees for late returns, lost items, or excessive damage to rental equipment.
  • Any disputed charges must be reported to us within 7 days of the rental period ending.

6. Prohibited Uses

Customers agree NOT to:

  • Use rental equipment for illegal activities.
  • Transfer or sublease rental items to third parties.
  • Modify, tamper with, or damage rental items.

Failure to comply may result in immediate termination of service without refund and possible legal action.

7. Weather Policy

  • Rentals will continue rain or shine unless conditions are deemed unsafe (e.g., extreme weather, strong rip currents).
  • If It’s Lit Beach Rentals determines that weather conditions are unsafe, customers will be given the option to reschedule their booking at no extra cost.

8. Privacy & Data Collection

We collect and store customer information as outlined in our Privacy Policy. By booking with us, you consent to our data collection and usage practices.

9. Dispute Resolution

  • Any disputes related to these Terms will be handled in accordance with Florida state laws.
